Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. The actress grew up having big hopes. Her most memorable roles include the action spy film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the thriller Precious. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. Her mother loved films, and she instilled a love of films into the young girl. Paula was involved in a variety of co-curricular activities in school however she showed particular passion for dramatics. Paula loved acting with friends as well as participating in the school's stage productions. She was a part of numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. She was enrolled in at the University of Southern Cal's summer program, and enjoyed the experience to death. The program gave her a three month task to produce documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the assignment, she began working as a production assistant for TV documentaries. She then moved to produce documentaries. She loved her work but was determined to pursue a career as an actor. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Over the past few years, she's appeared in many films and television shows.
