tito ortiz-1Jacob Christopher, an American mixed martial artist, is a politician. He is currently signed with the Combate Americas promotion. [2] Ortiz is most well-known for his participation in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in which he was an ex-UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, having been the champion since April 14th, 2000, to September 26 2003. He was one of the early athletes to be a part of the sport, along with fighters such as Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell. Ortiz was the biggest pay-per view draw for 2006, thanks to his fights against Forrest Griffin and Ken Shamrock.
